Plunge_pool_snapshot (image)

An unplanned snapshot taken just outside the sauna near a cool plunge pool, looks like someone called her name as she was about to step in. A young Japanese woman in her early 20s stands near the edge of a cold plunge pool, one hand gripping the wooden railing with wet fingers, the other hand half-raised as if she was about to say "wait." Her body is slightly twisted mid-turn, weight shifted to one leg, her posture caught in the middle of a motion. A few droplets of water cling to her shoulders, and her damp hair is partially tucked behind one ear, with a strand plastered across her cheek. Her expression is caught between surprise and recognition, one eyebrow slightly raised, her mouth forming the beginning of a word. The cool air has created a faint contrast, her skin still warm from the sauna, a slight sheen of moisture. The photo is slightly underexposed on her face, a bit of motion blur on her turning head and her hand gripping the railing, heavy grain, a small light leak near the top corner. Natural skin with visible pores, a tiny freckle near her eye, water droplets on her shoulders, no beauty filter. A stray cat is mostly out of frame, only its tail curling around a wooden post at the bottom right corner. Dutch angle from the right, 9:16
