Resting_sauna_portrait (image)

A quiet snapshot taken inside a warm wooden sauna, looks like she was resting after a long day when the shutter clicked. A young Japanese woman in her early 20s leans back against the wooden wall, her head tilted slightly to one side, one arm draped along the back of the bench, her fingers barely touching the wood as if she was about to tap but stopped. Her other hand rests on her knee, but her fingers are awkwardly curled, caught mid-motion. Her eyes are half-lidded, and she has a tired, almost amused half-smile, as if she just remembered something silly. A strand of hair is plastered across her forehead, and a small bead of sweat drips down her neck. The warm light hits her skin, creating soft highlights but also harsh shadows under her chin. The photo is slightly underexposed on her face, a bit of motion blur on her hand shifting on the bench, heavy grain, soft focus on the steam. Natural skin with visible pores, slight redness from the heat, a tiny scar near her eyebrow, no beauty filter. A stray cat is mostly out of frame, only its tail curling around the sauna door at the bottom right corner. Dutch angle from the right, 9:16
